September 5, 2019 - ICD-10 Update - January 1, 2019 Implementation Date - Requirement for All Atypical / Non-Diagnosing Providers to Report ICD-10 on Claims Revised MAL 626-A and the FAQ for the requirement that all non-diagnosing providers report diagnosis codes on claims starting January 1, 2020 has been posted to ODM’s MAL webpage. August 1, 2019 - October 1, 2019 - Ohio Medicaid Requirement for Non-Diagnosing Providers to Report Diagnosis Codes on All Claims As of October 1, 2019, all Ohio Medicaid claims and all adjustments submitted for previous paid claims, regardless of date of service, must include a valid diagnosis code to be accepted for processing. Providers that know the appropriate diagnosis code must enter it. Questions about which diagnoses to report should be directed to the ordering/referring/prescribing provider associated with a claim. Changes to the Transitions Carve Out Waiver Beginning February 1, 2015 and ending no later than June 30, 2015; Individuals enrolled on the Transitions Carve Out Waiver will be moving over to the Passport/Choices waivers. Provider #RSX071403. The Ohio Board of Nursing recognizes the State of Ohio CSWMFT Board as an approved provider of CNE for multi-disciplinary activities. Attendees must sign in on time and remain for the entire session to receive a certificate of attendance. This program is approved for 2 CEs per the CSWMFT Board. Home Health Aides will also receive 2 hours of continuing education towards the 12 hours required each year. Online Mandatory Provider Training This notice is to inform all providers of services to individuals on an Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) home and community-based services waiver of mandatory training on incident management. An "incident" is an alleged, suspected or actual event that is not consistent with the routine care of, and/or service delivery to, an individual enrolled on an ODM waiver. To complete this requirement, providers have the option to view the training at: http://ohiohcbs.pcgus.com/TrainingMaterials . Agencies also may choose to train their employees in a different manner. Regardless of how providers complete this training, they must document in writing that they have reviewed the rule.
